I am a practitioner of acupressure and bodywork. I am not a licensed physician, and neither acupressure nor bodywork is licensed by the State of California. My services are alternative or complementary to the healing arts licensed by the State of California.
Acupressure and bodywork involve hands-on techniques that support and stimulate the body’s innate healing capacity. I recommend that you inform your medical doctor that you are receiving acupressure and bodywork services.
My training and education includes:

State law requires that I keep a signed acknowledgement of your receipt of the above information in my records for at least three years. I will provide a copy of this information for your signature at your first appointment.
In the course of assessment, I often discuss with clients their ongoing concerns and stresses that may be affecting their health. I treat all such discussions with the strictest confidentiality. However, while I am a practicing attorney, discussions that occur in the course of acupressure sessions are not covered by the attorney-client privilege, and I do not give legal advice in conjunction with acupressure services. If a client has a legal issue for which he or she is seeking assistance, I will refer them to the appropriate legal professional for advice.
